WINNIPEG, MB — The Manitoba Book Awards / Les Prix du livre du Manitoba are thrilled to announce the winners of the six 2026 prizes.
We would like to say how grateful we are to the support of prize sponsors the Winnipeg Arts Council, Manitoba Writers’ Guild, the government of Manitoba, The Winnipeg Foundation and the presenting sponsor Michael Nesbitt.
We would like to thank Friesens Corporation for printing our programs (and for the donation!) and the Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre for printing the winners’ certificates.
We would especially like to thank Anthony Mark Schellenberg, of Anthony Mark Photography, for his great photographs!
Shelagh Rogers was the ultimate host and she has agreed to return in 2027! We are so happy!
Finally, the Manitoba Book Awards are delighted to announce that in 2027 McNally Robinson is returning to sponsor the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award.
